Password Keeper
Household password vault with end-to-end encryption — only people with the keeper unlock key can read entries.
Important
Atlas cannot recover your keeper master unlock if you lose it. Set it up carefully, store recovery material offline, and only invite people you trust.
First-time setup
- Open Password Keeper (Owner or Super Admin typically creates the vault).
- Create the encrypted vault and your unlock credentials.
- Save any recovery / invite material when prompted — you may not see it again.
Using entries
- Unlock the keeper on this device when you need it.
- Add logins and other secret notes; organize so the household can find shared accounts (Wi‑Fi, streaming, utilities).
- Invite other household members when they should have access — they accept with a secure invite wrap, not a shared plaintext password.
Private entries vs Vault
Password Keeper entries can be Private, Household, or Shared — similar names to Vault, but the rules differ: a Private entry is visible only to the owner and their manager. Household Owner and Super Admin do not automatically see someone else’s private passwords.
Good habits
- Prefer unique passwords; use the keeper instead of reuse.
- Lock or leave the page when you’re done on a shared computer.
- Remove access for people who leave the household.
