Quick add

Speak or type naturally. Atlas drafts a review card — nothing is saved until you confirm.

How it works

  1. Open Assistant in the header, then choose Quick add (any signed-in page).
  2. Choose what you're adding: calendar, reminder, task, list, or subscription.
  3. Type or use Speak, then tap Review with AI.
  4. Check the fields, edit anything that looks off, then confirm.

Calendar event

Appointments and meetings. Reminders you mention attach to the event (not a separate Reminder item).

  • “Dentist with Dr. Norton Wednesday at 10 AM, remind me 1 day before”
  • “Soccer practice Saturday 9 to 10:30 at Riverside Field”
  • “All-day school holiday next Monday”

Reminder

A private nudge (R mark). Optional on the calendar. Good for one-shot follow-ups.

  • “Remind me to call the pharmacy tomorrow at 9”
  • “Put trash out Friday at 7 PM”

Task

To-dos with an optional due date and time. With a due time, reminders use minutes/hours/days before (same picker as Calendar). Date-only tasks use day-based notices.

  • “Take out trash tomorrow at 6 PM, remind me 1 hour before”
  • “Submit insurance form by Friday, remind me 2 days before”
  • “Renew car registration — overdue”

List

Shopping, packing, or any checklist. If a list with that name already exists, review lets you add to it or create a new one.

  • “Add milk and eggs to Grocery list”
  • “Costco run: milk, eggs, paper towels, avocados”
  • “New packing list — sunscreen, towels, cooler”

Subscription

Recurring payments — streaming, software, gym, utilities. Mentions of amount, cycle, and next charge date help AI fill the review card.

  • “Netflix $15.99 monthly, next charge on the 3rd, remind me 3 days before”
  • “Gym membership $45 a month renews next Tuesday”
  • “Adobe Creative Cloud yearly, $239.88, renews August 15”

Tips

  • Pick the destination first — AI will not switch it for you.
  • Relative phrases (“tomorrow”, “next Wednesday”) use your device timezone.
  • Always review before saving. Confidence % is a hint, not a guarantee.
  • Need the full pages afterward? Open Calendar, Tasks, Lists, or Subscriptions.
